If you've always wanted to demystify crusts, this is the class for you. We'll demonstrate regular and gluten-free crusts and give tips on adapting ordinary baked goods to make them gluten-free. Come spend a few hours with the “Pie a Day” lady and banish your fear of pie-ing once and for all! In this class we’ll create three different crust based recipes including Classic Quiche, Lemon Curd Tart with Fresh Berries, and Dutch Apple Pie!
The careful methods and aromatic spices of Indian cuisine can create truly amazing and memorable side dishes and condiments. Learn the magic of Fried Vegetable Samosas, Masoor Dal Masala (Red Lentil Curry), Lamb Biryani (Steamed Rice with Spices & Marinade), accompanied by Tamarind Chutney, Cilantro-Mint-Chili Chutney, and Garlic Raita (Yogurt Dip).
Tea is a great way to add flavor, flair and nutrition to your culinary repertoire. In this class, Shari will teach you how to add tea to your baking with two sweets, Matcha Sesame Crisps, and Earl Grey Madeleines. Suzanne will show you how to make her two favorites: a Japanese Savory Pancake, Okonomiyaki, and a Burmese Fermented Tea Salad. You will want to make these items over and over for friends. All items will be gluten free. You will also taste complimentary teas with the dishes. Come hungry!

In every wedding, the bride is the main focus of the day. In Morocco, the bride is definitely the queen but the special dishes served during the wedding ceremony steal the hearts of all the guests. Our menu will include some of the wedding favorites: the big wedding salad medley, Seffa: a sweetened vermicelli dish, Rfissa: a chicken and lentil dish served on a bed of shredded flat bread, Zamita: a rich and nutty confection.
