Alicia Moore

When Alicia Moore moved to Talent, OR in the early '90s there were already mature fruit trees on her property. Today her 1/4-acre orchard supplies the Co-op with grapes, plums, pears, and filberts. She gets 70-80 pounds of Bartlett pears off one tree alone. Alicia does all the work herself, which is all the more impressive because she's in her late 70's! She says she'll keep doing it as long as she can make it up the ladder.

You'll see Alicia's pears arriving at the Co-op in August, her plums in September, her filberts in late September/early October, and her grapes in the middle of October.
