Guacamole Texas Style

A guacamole recipe that we love, full of garlic and jalapeño!

Ingredients

2 large ripe Haas avocados
1 or 2 fresh jalapeños chopped fine
1 small red onion diced
Juice of ½ a lime
2 cloves garlic minced
Salt to taste
Freshly ground black pepper

Preparation

  • Cut the avocados in half the long way. Insert a chef knife into the pit and pull it out. Use a teaspoon to separate the flesh from the skin. You should be able to remove the flesh all in one piece.
  • Mash the avocados coarsely with a fork. Gently stir in the remaining ingredients.
